Secretary Health Punjab constitutes committee to probe into the theft scandal of medicines

Lahore: Secretary Health Punjab Jawad Rafique Malik constituted an inquiry committee to probe into the theft scandal of medicines of government hospitals’ which were recovered in a joint raid by FIA and Health Department Drug Inspector of Data Ganj Bukash Town and were being sold near Lohari Gate.

Prof. Mehmood Saukhat Principal AIMC will be the convener of the committee while EDO Health Lahore Dr. Zulfiqar, Chief Drug Controller Punjab Zaka Ur Rehman and Chief Pharmacist Usman Habib will be members of this committee.

Secretary Health has directed to hold investigation into the matter and submit its findings by fixing clear responsibility within 24 hours, positively.
