Lahore: PML-N has announced its candidates for forthcoming Senate Elections after long discussion in a Parliamentary Board meeting chaired by PM Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad.
PML-N has received 172 applications for Senate ticket but the board recommended the names from Punjab Raja Muhammad Zafar Ul Haq (Technocrat), Pervaiz Rasheed ,General (R) Abdul Qayyum Khan,Kiran Dar,Mushahidullah Khan,Dr Ghaus Niazi,Begum Najma Hameed,Nihal Hashmi,Chaudhary Tanveer,Dr Asif Kirmani and professor Sajid Mir.
Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Raheela Magsi were awarded tickets from Islamabad,Zafar Ali Shah from Sindh and Lieutenant General (R)Salahuddin Tirmizi,Sabir Shah Pir Sabir Shah (Covering on General),from KP .
Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir (General), 2- Ameer Afzal Khan Mandokhel (G), Mir Nematullah Zehri (G), Shahbaz Khan Durrani (Technocrat), Ayaz Khan Sawati (Covering for Technocrat), Dhanaish Kumar (Minorities), Kalsoom Perveen (Women), Sydaal Khan Nasir (Covering on General seat), Mir Irfan Kurd (Covering on General Seat) from Balochistan.
