PML-Q parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly submits resolution for immediate construction of Kalabagh Dam

Lahore: PML-Q parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Chaudhary Moonis Elahi has submitted a resolution for immediate construction of Kalabagh Dam to overcome the mounting crisis of electricity and  water shortage in Pakistan,especially in Punjab province.

The resolution submitted by the PML Parliamentary leader in the Provincial Assembly Moonis Elahi and seconded by Sardar  Waqas Hassan Mokal demanded that Pakistan and in particular Punjab are facing grave water and electricity crises which are aggravating  with the passage of time. The Resolution demands of the govt to urgently take steps for evolving consensus among the provinces for major hydel projects like Kalabagh Dam so that water shortage for electricity and irrigation may be overcome.
