Gujranwala Police arrest its Inspector for aerial firing on his son’s wedding

Lahore: Gujranwala Police arrested its Inspector Tahir Farooq Cheema for aerial firing on his son’s wedding soon after the CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif took notice as the news broadcast on the National Televisions.

It was stated that as the barat reached pind Dadan,Ghakhar Mandi,the barati started aerial firing that scared the masses but none took notice of it as one of the guest was PML-N vice president Tamma Butt was among the people who shown his latest weapons and did firing.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif while taking strict notice of news regarding aerial firing during a function in Gujranwala has sought a report from IG Police Punjab and ordered investigation into the incident.

The Chief Minister directed that the persons involved in aerial firing should be arrested and indiscriminate action be taken against them as per law. He said that no one is above the law and the law will take its course against the violators.
