Siraj ul Haq,Hafiz Saeed discuss internal and foreign threats

Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has said that US President Obama’s patronage to the Indian Prime Minister Modi, a Hindu fanatic and the killer of thousands of Indian Muslims, was a plot to plunge the region into a war.pic 2

He however made it clear to both US and India that in case of any joint adventure by them, the war would not remain confined to the region and would destroy the world peace.   The JI chief was addressing the central leadership of the party at Mansoora on Thursday. The JI deputy chiefs Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, Rashid Naseem, Asadullah Bhutto, JI Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch and deputy SGs. Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha and Syed Waqas Anjum Ja’fery and JI Information Secretary Ameerul Azeem, were also present.

He counseled New Delhi to realize that Kashmir belonged to the Kashmiris and the sooner India realized this fact, the better it would be for herself.Siraj ul Haq,Liaqat Baloch

Terming the foreign policy of the government as a complete failure,  Sirajul Haq said that people from all walks of life were in mourning over the rulers’ foreign policy. “In spite of having five Foreign Advisors, the Foreign Policy is directionless”, he remarked. Notwithstanding the open threats from Washington and US conspiracies against this country, the rulers considered it their success to remain in the US lap. “The US is going ahead with its plan to establish India’s supremacy in the region and has also announced its support for India as permanent UN Security Council member which is not in the  interest of the region”, he added.  He said the government’s foreign policy suffered from contradictions and dilly-dallying because the rulers were not willing to annoy US.

The JI chief said that this was the occasion when the Prime Minister should have spoken openly against the US conspiracies to disturb the balance of power in the region. He said the Prime Minister should have summoned the US envoy and conveyed a clear message on this score.

Sirajul Haq said he had already stated that if the government did not have any competent person to handle the Foreign Ministry, the JI could offer capable people free of cost for this important national cause. But unfortunately, he said, the rulers’ remained confined to their self while the country was facing serious internal and external challenges.

The JI chief, in consultation with the central leaders of the party, declared the current year as the year of the youth, during which all tiers of the party would make special efforts to attract young men to the JI fold.  Big meetings of the youth would be held during next month. He said that the youth were highly worried about their future because highly qualified young men were running from pillar to post in search for jobs but without any success.

Meanwhile, the JI chief had a meeting with the chief of the Jamaat al Da’wa, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, on Thursday. The two leaders discussed the situation within the country and the region as a whole. They also assessed the internal and foreign threats facing the country and discussed their remedies.
