Police Court sentenced death to child abuser

Lahore: CIA police have encountered the child abuser Shoaib in police who killed a six years old Moeen and hanged him in the premises of a local mosque in Green Town some weeks before .

Police had shown his arrest in a press conference on 14 of January and briefed the media that Shoaib was arrested after collecting all the necessary evidences and DNA reports to prosecute him.

Today, accused was being taken to the court, in police van, when he tried to snatch a policeman, Munawar’s official rifle just before they reached Campus Bridge that led to a scuffle and the accused got shot in the chest and died.

The rapist had accepted to committing the crime. Earlier on January 2, body of a 6-year-old boy named Moin who had earlier gone missing from the Green Town area was found on the rooftop of a mosque.

The boy’s family tried to look for him in the neighborhood but failed to find him after which the police filed a missing person’s case.

During this time, a person who was in the mosque to offer prayer, called on the authorities and reported that a child’s body was lying on the rooftop of the mosque.

The government had taken a strict stance against sexual child abuse with Punjab Chief Minister stressing that resources were being provided to the police and that the authorities should double their efforts for the arrest of the accused.

SP CIA Omar Virk told the media that the accused deserves capital punishment if he trialled in the court he must get death penalty by the court in murder case as enough evidences were collected for sentence.
