Bilal Yasin visits educational institutes to check security arrangements

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin has said that the process of improving security arrangements in educational institutions is in progress and teachers and students will have to continue educational process by remaining on high alert.

He said this while talking to the teachers during his surprise visits to Government Central Model School Samanabad, Government Degree College for Women Samanabad, Government Pilot School Wahdat Road, Government Postgraduate College for Women Wahdat Colony and Queen Mary College Lahore. EDO Education and other officers accompanied him.

Provincial Minister directed Principal Central Model School Samanabad to set up security posts on rooftop of the school, depute security guards and install alarm immediately. While addressing LHS, Lady Health Workers, Social Welfare Coordinators and Imams of different mosques at a seminar held in connection with measles campaign in the school, he said that government has started a special campaign for controlling fatal disease like measles.

He said that awareness should be created from door to door for protecting children from this disease and parents should take active part in this campaign. Later, he visited Government Degree College for Women Samanabad and Pilot School Wahdat Road and expressed satisfaction over security arrangements. He also visited Queen Mary College and inquired from the students about security arrangements. Speaking on the occasion, Bilal Yasin said that government is endeavoring to eliminate terrorism. He said that promotion of education is essential for eliminating the menace of terrorism.

He said that the nefarious designs of terrorists will be foiled. He said that every citizen is standing with the government in this war and the morale of our students is high.
