Governor lauds role of PAF College of Education for Women enhancing ladies’ literacy rate

Awarding Gold Medal group PhotoLahore: The 5th Convocation Ceremony of M Ed, B.Ed and Montessori Diploma Courses was held at PAF College of Education for Women, Peshawar today. Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Vice Chancellor Air University, AVM (Retd) Faaiz Amir presided over the ceremony.

The Chief Guest awarded medals and trophy to the position holders, and commendation certificates to the faculty members for their outstanding performance in M.Ed, B.Ed and Montessori Method of Teaching Courses

While addressing the graduating students, the Chief Guest said, “I am confident that you would build a glorious future on the foundation that this institution has laid down for you.  Now the onus is upon you to explore the depths of this profession and prove your worth through a professional approach and dedication to the teaching profession”.   The Chief Guest lauded the role of the college towards enhancing ladies’ literacy rate in the society.  He also commended the regular conduct of co and extra curricular activities at the College.

The Vice Chancellor, Air University, Islamabad AVM (Retd) Faaiz Amir conferred degrees and diplomas on the graduating students. He also conferred the degrees on the graduating students of M.Ed, B.Ed Course and Diploma in Montessori Method of Teaching. 12 students of M Ed, 71 students of B.Ed Course received degrees and 08 students got Postgraduate Diploma in Montessori Method of Teaching. Principal Fazaia College of Education for Women presented the annual report of the college prior to the awards distribution.

Air Vice Marshal Shahid Akhtar Alvi, Air Officer Commanding Northern Air Command, received the Chief Guest, and the Vice Chancellor. High ranking PAF officers and parents of graduating students attended the ceremony.
