ATC awards two terrorist imprisonment of 38 years for keeping explosive material

Lahore: Judge Anti-Terrorist Court-III, Lahore Haroon Latif has awarded imprisonment of a total of 38 years each to Tariq and Zia-ur-Rehman of Tehrik-e-Talban Pakistan for keeping explosive material. According to details, Anti Terrorist Courts of Lahore, Sargodha and Dera Ghazi Khan have announced imprisonment and heavy fines for ten criminals of high profile cases during the current week.

Anti Terrorist Court Sargodha announced life imprisonment to Muhammad Hanif alias Meera and an imprisonment of 14 years to Noor Muhammad besides confiscation of property for possessing explosive material. The criminals were arrested from Musa Khel.  The same court has also given 14 years’ imprisonment to Abdul Samad arrested from Kundian besides confiscation of his property. The court also announced three years’ imprisonment and a fine of Rs.50 thousand to a culprit for keeping provocative literature in Darya Khan.

Anti Terrorist Court Dera Ghazi Khan announced life imprisonment to five culprits including Fahad, Suleman, Riaz, Fateh Muhammad and Muhammad Iqbal for torturing an under-arrest accused to death. The representation of Prosecution Department was made by DPGs Rauf Watto, Zahid Malik and Rizwan who were awarded commendatory certificates by Special Assistant to Chief Minister Rana Maqbool Ahmad.
