Lahore: Ravi Road police have busted an extortionist Muhammad Naveed who was demanding five millions from a legal advisor Muhammad Ajmal via SMS.
According to the SDPO Shafiqueabad Arshad Hayat,Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti complained to Ravi Road Police that someone was asking him on mobile phone through SMS to pay five millions otherwise he would have been killed.Upon this complaint,Ravi Road police registered a case against the accused and arrested him from a factory in Sheikhupura with the help of mobile data.The accused Muhammad Naveed is belonged to Sadiqabad,no further information is provided by the police in this regard.
SP City Asad Sarfraz Khan has announced commendatory certificates for the police party including DSP Arshad Hayat,Incharge Investigation Ravi Road Asad Raza,SHO Ravi Road Amir Sohail for prompt action on the complaint.
