PEF meeting reviews security arrangements in partner schools

Lahore: A meeting was held on Thursday at the head office of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) with Chairman Engineer Qamar ul Islam Raja in the chair. PEF Managing Director Dr. Aneela Salman, Deputy MD (finance) Salman Anwar Malik, Director (EVS) Samina Nawaz and Addl. Director (FAS) Zubaida Muslim Ali attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed in detail the security related arrangements in PEF partner schools in Punjab. PEF Chairman directed that all urban and semi-urban area partner schools with 500 and above students should ensure stipulated security arrangements in line with the directions of the Punjab government. He further directed to start physical inspections of such schools from today (Thursday) and complete it by Friday. Snap checking of partner schools should be conducted, as well.

The meeting was told that a departmental notification has already been issued to school heads to comply with. They have also been instructed through SMS.
