According to details, on the occasion of Mass wedding ceremony of fifty Hindu couples, more than ten thousand Hindu people have participated. They questioned that why the patriot Hindu community was not being taken on to confidence regarding such important decision-making process which effects whole nation. “Does Government consider attacks against Hindu Temples and worship places as acts of terrorism?” An angry participant asked. Some of other questions were related to cases of criminals against minorities before the Military courts and non-inclusion in other minority-related matters including the Evacuee Trust Property Board and Electoral Reforms Committee.
In response of community demand to present this issue before the Government of Pakistan, President Chela Ram Kewlani replied that the Hindu Council has already highlighted the issue of non-inclusion of minorities, at the time of APC formation. On the occasion, the Hindu community also urged Patron-in-chief Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, who also represents the ruling party PML (N) in the National Assembly, to play his due role in this regard.
