5 years old Moeen is laid to rest in Green Town

Lahore:  5 years old Moeen who’s strangulated body was found from local mosque is laid to rest in Green Town. Hundreds of people including SSP Investigation Rana Ayaz Saleem,SP Sadr Ijaz Shafi Dogar ,SP CIA Omar Virk attended the funeral prayer.

Earlier,Hundreds of residents of the locality including the family members of the ill-fated victim Moeen,staged protest with putting the dead body on the roads against the police who failed to arrest the accused even after a day of the sad incident.CM Punjab immediately took notice of the protest as the channels broadcast the news about protest and sent the spokesman of Punjab Government Zaeem Qadri to the bereaved family.

Zaeem Qadri assured the family for justice and give 48 hours deadline to police for the arrest of the accused in order to end the protest.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the incident of murder of a 6-year old child after abuse in Green Town is highly tragic. He said that those involved in the murder of child will not escape deterrent punishment and justice will be provided to the affected family at every cost. The Chief Minister said that he has taken immediate notice of the incident and ordered strict legal action against the accused. He said that all legal demands will be fulfilled for providing justice to the victim family and the accused will be brought to the condign justice.
