Lahore: Government of Pakistan has promoted Air Commodore Imran Khalid, to the rank of Air Vice Marshal.
Air Vice Marshal Imran Khalid was commissioned in Pakistan Air Force in November, 1984 in GD (P) Branch. During his illustrious career, he has commanded College of Flying Training (CFT) at PAF Academy Risalpur and a flying Squadron.
In his staff appointments he has served as Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Training Officer) and Secretary to Chief of Air Staff at Air Headquarters Islamabad. He has also served as Air Attaché to Saudi Arabia. He is a qualified flying instructor and also a graduate of Combat Commanders’ School, Air War College and National Defence University (NDU). He is also a recipient of Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military).
