A 6-member Chinese delegation arrives in Lahore

Lahore: A 6-member Chinese delegation led by Chen Fengxiang, Vice Minister for International Department Central Committee Communist Party of China arrived Lahore. Provincial Minister for Finance Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri MPA and former MNA Saood Majeed received the delegation.

Consul General of Peoples Republic of China in Lahore Yu Boren and Deputy Consul General Wang Daxue were also present on the occasion. During its two days’ visit, the delegation will meet Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Provincial Ministers and other senior officials.

Later, the delegation visited Royal Fort Lahore. Chairman Lahore Transport Company Kh. Ahmed Hasaan and Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Kh. Salman Rafiq received the delegation. DG Walled City Kamran Lashri gave a briefing to the members of the delegation about the Royal Fort.

The members of the delegation also visited Sheesh Mehal and Museum. Vice Minister Chen Fengxiang evinced keen interest in Mughal Architecture.
