Lahore: Punjab University Oriental College held a condolence reference at Sherani Hall, Old Campus to condemn the barbaric attack on schoolchildren of Army Public School.
Principal Oriental College Prof Dr Ismat Ullah Zahid, Dr Naheed Zaman, Dr Muhammad Kamran, Dr Moeen Nizami, senior faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, Dr Ismat Ullah Zahid said that it was one of the most tragic incidents in the history of Pakistan and we must unite ourselves to fight terrorism.
Later, Fateha was offered for departed souls and the meeting expressed solidarity with the bereaved families. Meanwhile, Centre for Clinical Psychology (CCP) and Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP) in collaboration with Pakistan Association of Clinical Psychologists (PACP) also arranged a walk to express grief and solidarity with the affectees of the incident of Peshawar massacre.
Director CCP and IAP Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar, President PACP Dr Nashi Khan, faculty members and a large number of students participated in the walk. They offered to provide post disaster psychological and counseling services to the affects of this incident as soon as the Govt. of KPK allows them.
