Mujtaba Shuja gives three crore to President Lahore Bar Association

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Finance, Law and Excise & Taxation Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman presented a cheque for three crore rupees on behalf of Chief Minister Punjab to President Lahore Bar Association Chaudhry Muhammad Ishtiaq for construction of lawyers hospital Dev Samaj Road at Chief Minister’s House today.

A 4-member delegation of Lahore Bar Association led by Chaudhry Muhammad Ishtiaq met Finance Minister today.

The members of delegation included Ch. Salmeen Ladhi, Qaseem Iqbal Hanjra and Afroaz Chisti.

Talking to the delegation, Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman said that provision of modern treatment facilities to all segments of society is the priority of the government and it has gradually increased the budget for health sector. He said that lawyers played an important role in the provision of justice to the citizens and government provides grants to various organizations of lawyers from time to time and the efforts for the welfare of lawyers’ community will be continued in future as well.
