Colonial powers were busy in conspiracies to divide the Muslim world:Siraj ul Haq

00Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has said that the colonial powers were busy in conspiracies to divide the Muslim world on the basis of race, colour, sects and language, but  unfortunately, some worldly elements had become tools in the hands of the enemy. He was addressing the Rawalpindi Bar association, at a reception hosted by the bar in his honour at the Rawalpindi district courts.

The JI chief said that the US was averse to democratic system in the Muslim countries and had always supported military dictators, kings and Sheikhs in the Muslim world. He said that the most recent and living example was the US acceptance of the Egyptian military dictator Gen. Sisi as against the elected government of the Akhwanul Muslimoon, headed by Dr Mursi, and the five billion dollar US assistance for the military regime.pic amir jip -

Sirajul Haq said that the US was afraid of political Islam. He said that according to the Holy Prophet’s teachings, man is the vicegerent of Allah Almighty on the earth however, the colonial powers were using the Muslims as a tool. He said that the Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had stated repeatedly that Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam and his vision for establishing this country was purely Islamic. But unfortunately, he said, that some agents of colonial powers inside the country were trying to mislead the people and  were openly working against Islam.

The JI chief said that the lawyers’ community was amongst the most respected people and urged them to come forward for building an Islamic Pakistan according to the JI’s vision. He said that with the peoples support, the JI would set up a system that was truly democratic, and based on public welfare. He said that a common ground between the JI and the bar associations was that regular elections were held in both organizations, and added that it was due to this process that a common man’s son was before them as thee JI chief.`Earlier, the Rawalpindi bar chief Nasir Mehmud  in his welcome address, paid rich tributes to the JI chief for his services for the country and democracy.

Meanwhile,Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has appealed to the people to observe Frpic amir jiiday, Dec. 19 as Youm e Dua and Istighfar, to invoke Almighty Allah,s help and support against the current wave of terrorism that had created serious challenges to the country’s future.

In an appeal, he said that the rulers and the entire nation should seek forgiveness from their Lord and Creator for their individual and collective misdeeds and pray to Him for divine help and peace.

Sirajul Haq said that the plans announced by the rulers against terrorism remained on paper and it was high time that the government took serious steps in this direction.
