Lahore: Pakistan kabaddi team outplayed Sweden by 50-21 in a league match of Kabaddi World Cup in Jalalabad on Tuesday. Pakistan players, who were in ruthless form, were leading by 26-7 at the interval.
National Kabaddi team exhibited an overwhelming game against Sweden and did not let their rivals to settle down throughout the match. Pakistan’s all players especially raiders Shafiq Chishti and Rehman Ishtiaq won several points at will against their relatively weak opponents.
The green flag-bearers will play their last league match against Argentina on December 17 (today) at Amritsar. Pakistan women team have already booked a spot in the semifinal stage. The men and women semifinals of Kabaddi World Cup will be played on December 18 (tomorrow) at Dirba, Sangrur.
