PU’s 95-year-old professor’s research on termites acknowledged

Lahore: Punjab University Department of Zoology’s 95-year-old professor emeritus Prof Dr Muzaffar Ahmad’s decades old research on termites has now been prominently highlighted in the “Treatise on the Isoptera on the World”.

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran and Pakistan Academy of Science General Secretary Dr Anwar Nasim have congratulated him on this remarkable achievement.

In his letter to Dr Muzaffar, Dr Nasim has congratulated Dr Ahmad on winning such a prestigious place in the international scientific community. He said that it was a great honor not only for Pakistan Academy of Science but for Pakistan in general.
