Amir Muqam who visited victims of Tuesday’s attack on a school that left 136 dead survived a roadside bomb blast on his way home, police said. “A roadside bomb blast exploded as Muqam’s vehicle was passing by at Pish Takhar area of ring road at the outskirts of Peshawar.

He said Muqam’s driver and two guards were injured. A senior police official Faisal Shahzad confirmed the incident and said the driver and guards were in stable condition.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the attack on Advisor to Prime Minister, Amir Muqam in Peshawar. He prayed for early recovery of injured persons.

The Chief Minister said that cowardly acts of terrorism cannot shake our determinations. He expressed the hope that terrorism will be eliminated from the country with the power of unity.
