Punjab govt gives approval to 500 more vacancies of nurses: Kh Salman Rafique

Lahore: Finance Department has given approval to 500 more vacancies of nurses while about 1800 nurses will soon be promoted to the next grade.

This was disclosed by Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafiq. He said that healthcare system will further improve as a result of creation of more vacancies of nurses and their promotion to the next grade. He said that Punjab government had earlier given approval to 1500 vacancies of nurses and the creation of 500 more posts will benefit nurses awaiting promotion for a long time. Secretary Health Punjab Jawad Rafiq Malik said that government has fulfilled a longstanding demand of nurses and paved the way for their rapid promotion.
