Sale of petroleum products should be ensured at new rates :Chief Secretary Punjab

Lahore: Chief Secretary Punjab, Naveed Akram Cheema has said that sale of petroleum products should be ensured at new rates on November 30 after 12 midnight and strict action be taken against those involved in overcharging.

On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Secretary Naveed Akram Cheema presided over a high level meeting after reduction in prices of petroleum products.

The Chief Secretary directed the Commissioners and DCOs to ensure supply of petroleum products from oil depots to petrol pumps in their respective districts.

The Chief Secretary ordered concerned departments to ensure decrease in transport fares and prices of other edible items for the economic benefit of people after reduction in the rate of petroleum products and all Commissioners and DCOs should submit report on daily basis regarding provision of petroleum products on fixed rate.
