Ch Shujat Hussain telephoned Maulana Fazlur Rahman,condoles on Khalid Soomro’s murder

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League -Q President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed have expressed deep sorrow and grief over martyrdom of JUI (F)’s Senator Dr Khalid Mahmood Soomro and said that he was a noted religious scholar, pious, good person and possessed dignified personality.

Ch Shujat Hussain telephoned Maulana Fazlur Rahman and his son and offered his heartfelt sorrow, grief and paying tributes to the late Senator Khalid Soomro for his services in the parliament. Dr. Soomro was his colleague Senator and very affectionate and loveable person and enjoyed great prestige in the House. He said that he was personally greatly grieved over this incident.

Son of the martyred Soomro told Ch Shujat Hussain that his father had gone to the mosque to offer Fajr prayers where he was martyred. Marriage of the younger son of deceased Senator was scheduled to be held tomorrow (Sunday) for which he was preparing to go to Larkana, he added.
