Failure of public meeting of November 30 is written on the wall:Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri

Lahore: Member Provincial Assembly Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that Imran Khan should stop patronage of qabza groups, forgers and loan defaulters. He said that the failure of public meeting of November 30 is written on the wall. He said that neither Punjab government wants to arrest any political worker nor it will do so. He said that Imran Khan and his companions are leveling baseless allegations against Punjab government just to cover their failure. He said that tolerance and democracy loving of the government should not be considered weakness of the state.

He expressed these views while addressing a press conference at Chief Minister’s office today. Zaeem Qadri said that Punjab government neither wants to create hindrance in any public meeting nor wants to stop anyone for participating in the meeting.

Zaeem Qadri said that writ of the government will be maintained at all cost. He said that Punjab government completed metro bus project through its own resources within a short period of 11 months whereas KPK government of Imran Khan who called metro bus as Jangla bus is going to start metro bus project with a loan of 180 million dollars from Asian Development Bank which is a clear proof of their telling lie. He said that on what basis Imran Khan talks to run the country whereas he has no ability to run a union council. He said that Imran Khan is not a head of political party but of fascist organization who has always instigated his workers for ransacking.

He said that Imran Khan declares himself a very honest person but he should tell that an amount of Rs. 34 billion has been allocated for 11 projects of hydle power in KPK and why three mega projects out of these have been put in IPP.

Zaeem Qadri asked that who is he to whom mega projects of energy are being given for meeting the expenses on travelling by plane of that company.

Zaeem Qadri said that Imran Khan had announced in Gujranwala on November 23 that why he should start Jangla bus in KPK and does not want to indebt the people of KPK. He said that the reality is contrary to it as KPK government has written a letter to Asian Development Bank for providing loan of 170 million dollar for starting metro bus in Peshawar. He said that feasibility and design of this project has been completed in August 2014 whereas work is to start in beginning of 2015.

Zaeem Qadri said that Punjab government led by Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif completed metro bus project in a short period of 11 months through its own resources and challenged that KPK government should complete metro bus project like Punjab government from its own resources and in a short period.

Zaeem Qadri said that the favourite Chief Minister of contractors is not available in his province for the last three months and KPK government is being run from container in Islamabad. He said that PTI has reiterated in its manifesto not to provide development funds to MNAs and MPAs but Imran Khan has violated his manifesto by providing funds to his favourite members. He said that government members of KPK are protesting over this injustice. He said that KPK government could not utilize its development budget of more than 40 percent during last year which is proof of its inefficiency. He said that development funds of Rs. 9.5 billion of KPK have been distributed among relatives.

Zaeem Qadri said that Imran Khan daily raises hue and cry over rigging from container but could not present any proof so far. He said that sit-ins are creating hurdles in the process of development. He said that all chambers of commerce and traders’ organizations are protesting over sit-ins as their business have been destroyed due to these sit-ins. Zaeem Qadri said that a senior office-bearers of PTI from Sargodha has been arrested for selling fake medicine and injections whereas PTI protested that government is arresting its workers. Replying to a question, Zaeem Qadri said that PML-N does not believe in politics of horse trading.
