National Kabaddi team will win the forthcoming Kabaddi World Cup Tournament: Musharraf Javaid

Lahore: Top class stopper Musharraf Javaid Janjua has said that the national Kabaddi team will present a fabulous gift to nation by winning the forthcoming Kabaddi World Cup Tournament, he was talking to media during the training camp at Punjab Stadium here on Wednesday.

Musharraf said that the national kabaddi team players are excited to show their skills in the mega tournament. “We are well prepared for the key event and insha-Allah we will demonstrate top quality kabaddi in the showpiece event,” he added.

Musharraf said that Sports Board Punjab under the instructions of DG SBP Usman Anwar, has provided us some best facilities at the training camp. “Our players took full advantage of these facilities and have improved their game to a great extent,” he resolved.

He further told that Pakistan team will try its best to improve its record in the Kabaddi World Cup. “Last time luck didn’t favour us in the title clash against arch rivals India but this time we are quite upbeat to cross the final hurdle in the mega event,” he asserted.

To a question, Musharraf said that recent World Kabaddi League tournament could be called as a blessing in disguise for our team. “We have watched the game strategy of all the top players in WKL event and now we are in a position to prepare ourselves accordingly,” he informed.

Replying another query, Musharraf, who displayed his magnificent form in the just-concluded World Kabaddi League (WKL), told that keeping the fog factor in consideration, our captain and coach are preparing our players accordingly so that our players do not face any problem while playing in night matches,” he concluded.
