Atta Manika inaugurates project of escalators at Darbar of Hazrat Farid ud Din Ganj Shakar

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs Mian Atta Muhammad Manika laid the foundation stone of escalators at Darbar of Hazrat Farid ud Din Ganj Shakar. Secretary Auqaf & Religious Affairs Hassan Rizvi, Director General Auqaf & Religious Affairs and DCO Pak Pattan were present on the occasion.

Talking to journalists on the occasion Atta Manika told that work on the project costing one crore rupees will be started by Auqaf Department in next few days. He said that escalators are being installed for facilitating old and disabled devotees coming from all over the world at the Mazar of Hazat Farid ud Din Ganj Shakar. He said that the saints have rendered invaluable services for the promotion of Islam and their teachings are a beacon of light for their followers. Atta Manika said that this project has been started due to his personal efforts and after its completion, old and disabled followers will have easy access to the shrine.
