Lahore: Parliamentary Secretary for Culture and Information Rana Muhammad Arshad has said that the arts councils of Punjab and Sindh will introduce their culture at Tehsil level in their respective province with mutual consultation. He said that a strategy is being evolved so that culture of Punjab could be introduced throughout the country.
He expressed these views while talking to a 13-member delegation of Sindh Arts Council Larkana at Punjab Arts Council today. Chief Executive Punjab Arts Council and Director Arts Council were also present on the occasion. Rana Muhammad Arshad said that Sindhi artistes have brought message of love and affection from Sindh. He said that artist is the ambassador of peace and culture. He said that dramas, exhibitions and fairs will be arranged for promoting culture of Punjab and Sindh so that close contacts could be created. Rana Arshad said that we will eliminate terrorism through promotion of our culture so that peaceful atmosphere could be maintained in the country. Vice President Sindh Arts Council Abdul Sattar Khawar presented gifts of Sindhi “Ajrak” and caps to Parliamentary Secretary Rana Muhammad Arshad and officers of Punjab Arts Council.
