Joint Investigation Team on Model Town incident holds its first meeting

Lahore: Joint Investigation Team on Model Town Incident held its first meeting and reviewed the case file ,today in Lahore.CCPO Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema chaired the meeting whereas all the other members of the JIT including Col Ahmad(ISI),Muhammad Ali(IB),SSP Rana Shahzad Akbar and DSP Khalid Abubakar attended the meeting.

THe JIT discussed its strategy to dig out the facts of Model Town incident but did not reach to any conclusion.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,CM Shahbaz Sharif,federal ministers Pervaiz Rasheed,Kh Saad,Kh Asif,former CCPO Lahore,DIG Ops SP Model Town,SP Security and many other police officers were booked in this case.

On the other hand ,PAT leadership has shown its no confidence upon the JIT and said that JIT chief was a family friend of Sharif family so they will not accept his any verdict and will not join investigation.
