Lahore: The foreign delegates , who came to Pakistan to attend the three-day international conference on “Local Representation of Power in South Asia” at the Government College University Lahore, Sunday visited the city’s monuments including Lahore Fort, Shalimar Gardens, Badshahi Mosque, Minar-i-Pakistan and Walled City. The tour was arranged by GCU Political Science Department Chairman Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt .
China University of Geosciences, Wuhan Dean Public Administration Jiangfeng Li, eminent Chinese academician Dr Xiaoqing Xie and University of Bonn, Germany Prof Dr Katja Mielke were among the foreign delegates who spent a whole-day understanding the culture and traditions of Lahore. The delegates lauded the Walled City conservation project and efforts of Old Ravians Union President Kamran Lashari for the project. The organizing team of the conference also accompanied the foreign delegates.
