8 PTI workers injured by alleged firing of PML-N workers in Jehlum

8 PTI workers injured by alleged firing of PML-N workers in JehlumFiring at PTI rally in Jehlum, 8 injuredLahore: At Least 8 PTI workers have been wounded by the alleged firing of the PML-N workers in Jehlum.PTI workers were moving in rally to demonstrate show of their political strength in the city when some armed persons open fire on the participants of the rally and fled away from the scene.The injured have been shifted to local hospital where treatment is being provided to them.PTI local leadership has alleged that PML-N former MPA Ch Nadeem Khadim was involved in the attack on the PTI rally.

Meanwhile CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Shahbaz has taken notice of the incident and sought report from RPO Rawalpindi Akhtar Omar Hayat Lalika and Commissioner Rawalpindi and directed them for immediate arrest of the culprits and best treatment facilities to the injured.

DPO Jehlum Sarfraz Virk has confirmed 10 people have injured due to firing ,both group are blaming each other for firing and fixing responsibility.
