CEO PBIT Ilyas Ghauri to attend UK-Pakistan Energy Dialogue 2014

Lahore: The Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT), Muhammad Ilyas Ghauri would participate in the UK-Pakistan Energy Dialogue 2014, which is being hosted at the Lancaster House, London, UK. He is part of the delegation led by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

While addressing the UK-Pakistan Energy Dialogue, CEO PBIT will inform the participants about investment opportunities in power sector, followed by an introduction and presentation regarding investment opportunities in Solar Power and incentives given by Punjab Government.

It may be mentioned that the objective of the UK-Pakistan Energy Dialogue 2014 is to assist Pakistan in addressing its energy needs through sharing expertise and best practice in energy sector and facilitating private sector contact that can be developed further by government of Pakistan. The UK and Pakistan will share expertise and experience in the energy sector, through a series of interactive meetings. The primary focus will be on policy, making at senior official level to inform future policy while harnessing ministerial engagement and support wherever applicable.
