Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt visits Zhuhai Air Show

Zhuhai: Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force visited Zhuhai Air Show (China) at the invitation of Peoples Liberation Army and Air Force (PLAAF). He participated in the opening ceremony of the Air Show.

The Air Chief visited the PAF contingent which is participating in Zhuhai Air Show – 2014. He also witnessed the static display of JF-17 Thunder. The aircraft is attraction of show and thousands of people including Air Chiefs of the various countries are taking keen interest in this co-produced fighter aircraft. He met with the PAF contingent participating in the show and appreciated their involvement and presentation in the show.

He also met with his Chinese counterpart General Ma Xiaotian, Commander Peoples Liberation Army and Air Force (PLAAF). Both the dignitaries discussed matters pertaining to professional interest and mutual co-operation between the two Air Forces. They also expressed satisfaction on joint air exercises conducted between the two friendly Air Forces. Other avenues of further enhancing the professional expertise of the personnel of the both Air Forces were discussed.

This is the 10^th Air Show in the series of Chinese Air Shows which is held after each even year. This Air Show provides an opportunity to the Air Forces of the world and aircraft manufacturing industries including the associated manufacturers to exhibit their aircraft and related products.
