Maryam Nawaz stepped down as chairperson PM Youth Programme

Lahore: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ‘s daughter Maryam Nawaz has resigned from the seat of chairperson Prime Minister Youth Programme.Her resignation has been received at Prime Minister office.In her statement for media,Maryam Nawaz said that designation does not matter and she would continue to serve the masses.I expect that the PM Youth Programme would continue in a transparent way,I tried my level best to make this scheme a corruption free project.I worked on this programme voluntarily without any desire or greed but now it is the right time for surrendering the chairpersonship .

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was under criticism due to assignation of her daughter Maryam Nawaz as a chairperson of PM Youth Programme and local lawyer had also challenged the appointment of Maryam Nawaz in Lahore High Court.The court has given observation that it seemed that the appointment does not look on merit and announced to give judgement on Friday but the loving daughter Maryam Nawaz resigned before the decision to save her father from  indignity.
