Lahore: Impartial judicial inquiry and punishment to the culprits could avert incidents like Kot Radha Kishan,interfaith harmony is only possible with acts not with talks,use of blasphemy laws for own interest is like blasphemy of prophet,religion and Holly book,these views were expressed by religious scholars in a seminar jointly organized by Pakistan Ulema Council and Church of Pakistan , here in Lahore.
Bishop Izera Samuel,Qazi Abdul Qadeer Khamoosh,Hafiz Muhammad Amjad,Molana Muhammad Khan Leghari,Khateeb Badshahi Masjid Molana Abdul Khabir Azad and others also spoke on the occasion.
The speakers termed that no group,party or mob could be allowed to decide who has the right in the country and whom has to leave the country,Constitution of Pakistan had defined that no one could be deprived of his rights on the basis of religion,creed and sact.Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him and caliphs had provided complete security to the non-Muslims.Ulema always performed their role for inter faith harmony,now time for government and judiciary to discharge their responsibility in this regard.
They condemned Kot Radha Kishan incident and demanded the government to arrest of the real culprit rather to harass the masses.The people who were demanding the abolishment of the law were not sincere to any creed or religion,all the religious scholars were agreed that misuse of law was needed to stop and law should be remain there,the speakers concluded.
