Disaster Management Authority has completed survey reports of flood losses:Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi

Lahore: Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi has said that survey report of losses caused to the crops and houses of flood affectees has been completed. He said that in the light of the report, the losses have also been estimated. He said that provision of financial assistance to the flood affectees will be started from November 10 under “Khadim e Punjab Relief Package Phase-II”.

He expressed these views while addressing a departmental meeting. Javed Qazi said that the report of losses caused to the crops and houses of flood affectees has been prepared carefully. He said that this report has been prepared by a third party so that no one should be deprived of financial assistance and the deserving person could be provided his right immediately. He said that like the first procedure, relief centers are being set up at the same places so that no one could face difficulty.

DG PDMA said that representatives of bank, NADRA and officers of other departments will check the documents of the affectees under one roof so that they could be provided financial assistance without any difficulty. He said that security arrangements are being ensured at every relief center in order to avoid any untoward incident. He said that the affectees will be served tea and water by the administration while it will also be bound to bring the affectees to relief centers.
