Rescuers trained for Peshawar & Mardan to pass out on 07th November,

Rescue 1122 passing outLahore: The Rescuers trained for Peshawar & Mardan (KPK) shall be passing out on 07th November, 2014 from the Emergency Services Academy, Lahore for capacity building of Rescue 1122 Emergency Service of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These rescuers have been trained at the Emergency Services Academy for professional management of emergencies, so that the basic right to timely emergency care can also be provided to the citizens of other provinces of Pakistan.

The Government of Punjab has been providing technical assistance to other provinces for establishment of emergency services under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Punjab and the Governor Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar. The Founder Director General of Rescue 1122 in Pakistan Dr. Rizwan Naseer is providing technical assistance for the establishment of an effective Emergency Management system in other provinces.

These Rescuers set to pass out include Emergency Medical Technicians; Fire Rescuers, Rescue & Safety Officers have been given specialized training of rescue, firefighting, rescue from height and management of medical emergencies  in first phase then the specialized training courses were arranged for rescuers in the fields of Communication, Medical First Responder (MFR), Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue (CSSR), Communication Enhancement and Incident Command System.

This specialized Emergency Services Academy has been established for the first time in Pakistan for the capacity building of long neglected emergency services in Pakistan. This Academy has already trained Rescuers from Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa, Gilgit Biltistan, Azad Kashmir and Karachi.
