Government is providing a subsidy of 747Rs on each bag of urea fertilizer:PM Nawaz Sharif

Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that the law would take its course if the benefit of the reduction in the  of petroleum prices  was not passed on the public.

In a statement,The prime minister said the timely decision of increase in the support price of wheat to thirteen hundred rupees per 40 kilogram, imposing 20 percent regulatory duty on import of wheat, and reduction in diesel price will greatly benefit the farming community.

The Prime Minister said as a result of these measures, a farmer will earn three thousand five hundred and five thousand rupees more from an acre of land.

He said the government is providing a subsidy of seven hundred and forty seven rupees on each bag of urea fertilizer to the farmers.
