Shahbaz Sharif condemns Wahga Blast,announces financial aid for the victims

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in a blast near Wahga border. He strongly condemned the tragic incident and expressed condoles with the bereaved families and sympathies with the injured. After receiving information about the incident, the Chief Minister directed Provincial Ministers Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman and Bilal Yasin to visit Ghurki and Shalimar hospitals to look after the injured and ensuring best medical facilities to them.

The Chief Minister also directed the health authorities to provide the best treatment facilities to the injured and spare no effort in providing them medical aid. He also announced financial assistance of Rs. five lakh each for the heirs of martyrs while Rs. 75 thousand for seriously injured and Rs. 25 thousand for those who received minor injuries.

Shahbaz Sharif said that these cowardly acts cannot demoralize Pakistani nation, brave armed forces and Rangers. He said that our moral is high and the operation against terrorists will continue with the support of entire nation till the achievement of desired results. He said that Pak-Army is engaged in operation Zarb-e-Azb and fighting a war against terrorists. He expressed the hope that nefarious designs of anti-state elements will be foiled and every sacrifice will be made for the protection of motherland.

Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Pak-Army has discharged its national obligation of protection of the nation and the country in a courageous manner and the entire nation is fully supporting it against terrorists. He said that those playing with the lives of innocent citizens through bomb blasts will not escape their logical end and will be taken to task at any cost.
