Fazal Haq Abbasi elected President Supreme Court Bar Association

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated newly elected office-bearers of Supreme Court Bar Association in annual elections and expressed the hope that they will come up to the confidence reposed by lawyers’ community in them.

In a felicitation message to the newly elected President Supreme Court Bar Association Fazal Haq Abbasi, Secretary General Chaudhry Maqsood and other office-bearers, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that lawyers have played a historic role for the stability of democratic system, restoration of judiciary and promotion of democratic values in the country and they will also have to continue their effective role in the provision of justice to the people.

The Chief Minister expressed the hope that newly elected leadership of lawyers’ community will utilize all its energies for the welfare of lawyers, resolution of their problems and betterment of the Bar.
