Imran Khan’s statement is based on a totally false report : Ameer-ul Azeem

Lahore: The central Information Secretary of the Jamaat e Islami, Ameer-ul Azeem, has said the PTI chairman Imran Khan’s statement calling for an explanation from the JI was based on a totally false report filed by the representative of an English daily from Abbotabad  attributing to the Ameer, JI, Siraj ul Haq as saying that the PTI was not different from PML(N) and they were two sides of the same coin.

The JI Information Secretary said that the PTI circles had been contacted and told that the news item was false and concocted, and the JI had also called upon the management of the concerned daily to take stringent action against the concerned reporter.

Amirul Azeem further said that the PTI chairman should have glanced through other  dailies and also asked for a clarification from the JI on his score.

He said that the JI chief had also talked to the Khyber P. Chief Minister, Pervez Khattak, on phone on the issue. Meanwhile, the JI chief has directed the JI office bearers not to issue any comment on the PTI Chairman’s statement.
