ETPB pledges state of the art arrangements to welcome Sikh and Hindu Yatrees

Nankana SahibLahore: ETPB has made state of the art arrangements to welcome and accommodate 30 thousand Sikh and Hindu Yatrees (Pilgrims) at Nankana Sahib on 6th of November on 546th Birth Day of Guru Nanak Dev Jee.

For the first time, “Amrat Jal” will be gifted in sealed bottles to Indian and overseas yatrees by ETPB. This was stated by Muhammad Siddiq ul Farooq the newly appointed ETPB chairman.

While addressing a news conference here on Thursday he further said that he along with his officials will receive 3 thousand yatrees on 4th of November at Wagah Border where the guests will be provided all facilities relating to immigration, custom, foreign exchange etc. they will also be served food at the border. He further said that two thousand Sikh Yatrees from Canada, UK, USA and other western countries will also reach Pakistan to participate in ceremonies.

These Yatrees will be received at Allama Iqbal International Airport by the ETPB officials. Mega congregation will be held on 6th of November at Nankana Sahib where Yatrees will also organize the rally “ Nagar Keeten” with Garanth Sahib boarded in a special coach from Janam Asthan to Gurdwara Tanbu Sahib. Pilgrims will reach Panja Sabihb Hassan Abdal through three special trains on 7th of November and get back to Lahore on 9th of November through trains.

On 11th of November Governor Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar will host brunch in honour of the Yatrees in Governor House. Governor Punjab, Chairman ETPB and representatives of Yatrees will address the participants. On 12th of November pilgrims will visit Gurdwara Rohri Sahib in Aiman Abad and Gurdwara Kartar Pur Sahib in Narowal. On 13 of November Yatrees from India will be seen off by Siddiq ul Farooq. With this the ceremonies will conclude.
