We all are one for the Kashmir cause: Professor Dr Asghar Iqbal

Lahore: Jammu,Kashmir Journalist Forum has organized a special sitting against the oppressions of India in held Kashmir here at Lahore Press Club.A senior journalist Raja Aurangzaib presided over the meeting.Punjab University’s professor Dr Asghar Iqbal and director Kashmir Centre Sajid Mehmood were the guest of honour. Senior Journalist Azeem Qureshi,Saima Nawaz,Ather Arif,Qamar Bhatti,Rizwan Khalid,president Jammu & Kashmir Journalist Forum Khalid Minhas,Muhammad Abdullah,Zahid Shafique Tayyab,Sajjad Awan,Sher Afzal Butt,Ijaz Haider Butt,Shahbaz ,Babar Shah and other attended the meeting.

While addressing the sitting,professor  Dr Asghar Iqbal said that all the political parties and thinkers from every school of thought were on one page for the complete freedom of the Kashmir,we would not be able to achieve the destination till the Kashmiris become united for this great cause,our difference had weakened the Kashmir cause,we have to pledge that we will fight for the complete freedom of the Kashmir.

Sardar Sajid Mehmood demanded that India should conduct plebiscite as per its commitment in the United Nations,to give the Kashmiris right to decide their future.He said Indian state terrorism and killing of the innocent Kashmiris was negating india’s claim that it was the largest democracy of the world.
