Lahore is historical and cultural city and custodian of glorious traditions. This was stated by President Ecosai and Audit Head of Turkey Dr. Recai Akyel during his visit to Mazar-e-Iqbal, Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque today.
Audit Head of Iran Mohammad Amin Hossain Rahimi said that Poet of the East Allama Iqbal has an equally important place in Pakistan and Iran as well as the whole world due to his philosophic poetry and unique thinking. He said that people of Iran consider Pakistan as their second home.
He said that the participants of Ecosai conference have received deep love and hospitality at the conference and during their visit to historical places of the city. The Audit Heads of Turkey, Iran and Tajikistan participating in Ecosai conference first visited Mazar-e-Iqbal along with their delegations and were giving a warm welcome. The foreign delegates during their visit to Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque took keen interest in various sections of the fort and the sacred relics displayed at the mosque.
During the second day session of the 19th International Ecosai conference, Auditor General Pakistan and Secretary General Ecosai Muhammad Akhtar Buland Rana highlighted the aims and objectives of the conference while Director General International Relations Ecosai Dr. Naveeda presented audit reports. The participants of the conference described the event as very important with regard to learning modern techniques and methods of audit.
The participants of the conference said that important decisions were taken in the conference for promoting cooperation between the countries of the region which will provide opportunities of benefiting from each other’s experiences in the sector of audit.
