A Board of Governors will soon be constituted for Shaikh Zayed Medical College and Hospital

Lahore: A Board of Governors will soon be constituted for running the administrative affairs of Shaikh Zayed Medical College and Hospital in an efficient manner. Health Department Punjab will soon sent a summary to Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for approval of the names of the members of BoG.

It was decided in a meeting of Board of Trustees of Shaikh Zayed Hospital presided over by the Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique. Secretary Health Punjab Jawad Rafique Malik, Mehar Jeevan Khan, Chairman Shaikh Zayed Hospital Prof. Farrukh Iqbal, Administrator Dr. Akbar Hussain, Additional Secretary Health (Tech) Dr. Salman Shahid, Additional Secretary Finance Javed Iqbal, Almas Haider, Nusrat Ullah Chaudhary and other officers were attended the meeting.

The meeting decided that the Board of Governors of Shaikh Zayed Hospital will include Secretary Health Punjab, Secretary Finance or his representative, Vice Chancellor University of Health Sciences Lahore, President CPSP, Chairman Planning & Development or his representative and Accountant General Punjab while private members will include persons from medical sector, industrialists and Members Punjab Assembly. Chief Minister Punjab will give approval to the names of members of BoG. Kh. Salman Rafiq said that BoG will also be authorized to constitute Executive Committee.
