PML-N wins by elections of PP-162 Sheikhupura

Lahore: PML-N candidate Ch Hissan Riaz has defeated the independent candidate  Usman Nisar Pannu who was being backed by PTI,PPP and JI in a clear margin in by elections PP-162 Sheikhupura.PML-N supporters have started celebrating the victory even before complete results from all the polling stations as their margin was far enough with the competitor.

Dozen of supporters of Ch Hissan Riaz expressed their skills of firing with latest weapon in the presence of police.It was a low voting competition with a single incident of clash in Narang Mandi in which Usman Nisar Pannu supporters  attacked at Ch Hissan Riaz ‘s vehicle that become reason for halt of polling for a while but overall it was a peaceful election.

As per the latest un-official results PML-N candidate Ch Hissan Riaz taken 39450 and independent candidate Usman Nisar Pannu bagged  19595 votes.

Meanwhile,on the direction of CM Punjab Sheikhupura police have arrested four people for doing aerial firing.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated Muslim League-N candidate Ch. Hisaan Riaz on victory in by-elections in provincial constituency 162 of Sheikhupura. He said that due to politics of public service of PML(N), the popularity of the party has increased among the people. He said that the victory of the party in by-election of Sheikhupura is expression of people in the policies of the government. The Chief Minister expressed the hope that newly elected member will come up to the expectations of the masses and spare no effort in their service.
