PML-Q stops public meetings and procession in respect of Muharram

Photo CSH 02 {Oct20-14}Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvaiz Elahi have said there was no bail even for dishonoured cheque in the law, when media members go to press conference of Shahbaz Sharif they should remind him regarding debate challenge about govt performance of our five years and their 15 years.
They said we have no difference with Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT), there would be no public meetings and processions as mark of respect during Muharrum-ul-Haram, “Bedari-e-Awam Jashan” would be celebrated in the sit-in in Islamabad tomorrow, dates for public meetings in the context of future line of action would be announced by Dr Tahirul Qadri.
They said this while talking to media after meeting of the allies parties at the residence of PAT leader Dr Tahirul Qadri here. PML leader Tariq Bashir Cheema was also present on the occasion. Ch Parvez Elahi said that local bodies elections also came under discussion in the meeting, we would determine our line of action in accordance of the verdicts come regarding Election Commission delimitation and the Supreme Court.
He said there was no difference between PML and PAT, “we all are together and united”.
Responding to a question Ch Shujat Hussain said that cheques which Sharif brothers were distributing among the flood-effected people were being dishonoured, in the law punishment in case of cheque being dishonoured was immediate arrest without bail, flood-hit people of 2010 were still going around and around with their cheques even today, this was also the case of widows of Police shuhda, the rulers were saying they had distributed 94 thousand cheques, “I think at least 50 thousand cases should be registered”.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that there would be no public meeting or convention during Muharrum-ul-Haram, sit-in will stay at its place, our allies parties were in contact with each other, we would also be together in the next elections because we have to become part of this political process. He said the biggest All Parties Conference (APC) in the history of Pakistan was held at Minhajul Quran in which all ally parties had participated.
