Lahore: Pakistan women kabaddi players continued their practice at kabaddi training camp being organized at Punjab Stadium on Saturday. The camp probables did their training in two sessions in preparation for Women Kabaddi World Cup being staged in India in December this year.
After spending a couple of days in the camp, Pakistan women kabaddi players have increased their training sessions to get into to proper shape for the mega tournament.
Talking to media persons, national women Kabaddi Captain Madeeha Latif told that all the players of national team were in good form and fitness. “Our players are being trained in two practice sessions daily so that they can polish their game properly ahead of the grand event. Our team will definitely face great challenge in the World Cup and that’s why we are preparing our team for any kind of challenge in India,” she informed. “We are emphasizing heavily on raiding and stopping departments besides fitness of our players,” she continued.
Madeeha said that the national women kabaddi players were quite determined to give tough time to their opponents. “It’s true that our women team suffered defeat in the semifinal of Kabaddi World Cup last year but this time, they will not let their nation down,” she expressed her determination.
Meanwhile,Lahore Lions Kabaddi Team has left for India through Wagah Border to play against Honey Singh Yo Yo Kabaddi team and other matches of World Kabaddi.
