Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has proceeded on a three day tour of the Sindh province. He will address public meetings at Kandhkot, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Larkana, Khairpur and Sukkur.
He will also meet important political and social figures of the area.
Meanwhile, the JI chief contacted PTI central leader Shah Mehmud Qureshi by phone and greeted him on the victory of the PTI supported candidate Aamir Dogar, in the Multan by-elections. He also exchanged views with Mr. Qureshi on the prevailing political crisis in the country.
Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has said that the women folk comprised 50 per cent of the country’s population and no movement could be successful without their support.
In a telephonic address to the central Shoora of the JI Women wing, he commended the contribution of the JI women workers towards propagation of Islam and said he was confident that the women would be in the vanguard of the Islamic revolution. He impressed upon the members of the JI women wing to approach the women folk of every sphere and class of the society and try to absorb them in the Islamic movement.
Sirajul Haq said, “we are fully hopeful for an Islamic revolution in Pakistan and are quite sure of the success of the message we are carrying.” Besides, he said, the JI had a team of experienced people having a clear vision.
He said the JI was a national as well an international organization and its workers should go ahead with the hope of success.
He said the JI experience of a coalition with the PTI in the Khyber P had been a success. He said that the JI Ijtema at the Minar e Pakistan from November 21 to 23 would not be simply a public meeting, it would be the harbinger of a revolution and a change. Therefore, the members of the JI women wing should ensure their full participation in the Ijtema along with their family members and children.
