LHC summons officials of Punjab Board of Information Technology on site hacking

Lahore High Court website was hacked today but fortunately its data remained safe. It only interrupted website for an hour whereas the statistics of all cases and other vital information of judiciary remained intact.

Mr. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah took prompt notice which activated the staff of IT department of the Lahore High Court. According to the latest development, efforts of the IT staff bore fruit and the whole web site has been restored. His lordship ordered an immediate inquiry in to the matter and officials of Punjab Board of Information Technology and other IT experts have been summoned tomorrow i.e. October 15 in order to investigate the happening and ensure to avoid such sort of lapses in future.
